Cystex Review & Giveaway - 9/28

Although I do not get them often, I know that urinary tract infections can be quite painful. I remember the first time I got urinary tract infection. It was in 1993 and I was doubled over in pain and had a burning sensation when I urinated. There was absolutely no comfort. I was clueless as to what was going on, so I went to the hospital. Yes, the pain was that bad. I was diagnosed with Urinary Tract Infection. On a side note, I was also informed that I was pregnant with my first child.

I've had a few urinary tract infections since then. Although none have ever been as painful, they've still caused a lot of discomfort and burning. With that being said, it's nice to know there's a product on the market that helps numb the pain and burning sensation with an analgesic, but it also helps control the infection while you wait to see a physician. Cystex comes in an easy-to-swallow tablet form and will not change the color of the urine as other OTC urinary pain products do. Instead of waiting in pain before I see a doctor, I can take Cystex for relief.

I hate UTI and get them not too often but would love to get rid of it quickly.
I Learned:
Dr. Kavaler advises that the best thing to do is to make an appointment to see your healthcare provider who will take a culture to confirm that you have a UTI and if so, will prescribe a course of antibiotics.

What You See When You Pee: Dark Yellow Urine

* Most Likely Means: You have not been drinking enough liquids and are likely dehydrated.
* What to Do: Consume more water. Climate, activities and diet can impact hydration, but on average, we need at least 32 ounces of fluids per day.
