KRAFT Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese Dinners - Review and Giveaway

Me and my family can eat macaroni & cheese like champs. Sometimes we'll use it as a side dish and other times, we'll add ingredients to it to make a main meal.

KRAFT has introduced a new line of macaroni & cheese, KRAFT Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese Dinner, that adds a touch of sophistication and homestyle flair to your meal.

The three flavors include:
Classic Cheddar Cheese Sauce
Hearty Four Cheese Sauce
Old World Italian with Parmesan and Romano Cheese Sauce

Instead of being packaged in boxes like you see the original KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese in, this new line is presented in large pouches. Each one makes about four servings.

The Classic Cheddar Cheese Sauce and the Hearty Four Cheese Sauce were cooked as side dishes. The Old World Italian with Parmesan and Romano Cheese Sauce was cooked as a main dish with tuna added to it.

Cooking the KRAFT Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese Dinners was easy. If you know how to make regular macaroni & cheese, then this should be fairy simple for you to prepare. You boil the macaroni as you do any other macaroni & cheese, but separately prepare the cheese sauce. The addition of milk with the real KRAFT cheese sauce, butter, and seasoning packet make this a simple meal to make. The included breadcrumb topping sets it off.

My husband and I prepared the macaroni & cheese over the stovetop in a large pan. There is also the option to create it in the oven, but I didn't do it in that fashion.

Each time we made the Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese
Dinner, there was not one morsel left over. I kid you not, I couldn't find a piece of macaroni to scrape in the trash. Although we each had our flavor preferences, we all agreed that this macaroni was scrumptious and tasted like it could have been homemade.

I'd estimate that each bag would feed 3 to 4 people. Since I have a somewhat large family, I find that it is necessary to purchase two or more bags to satisfy everyone's liking. KRAFT Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese Dinners can be found at grocery stores, club stores, and mass merchandisers nationwide at the suggested retail price of $2.99 per package.
