Wordful Wednesday - Homecoming

Last weekend was Homecoming for my teenage daughter's high school. Here are a few photos that were taken before the event:

This is me and Shelby. A lot of people say we look alike.

For prom last year Shelby had her photo taken with her oldest brother. This time she wanted one with her younger brother.

Shelby with her date

I think she looks stunning. I did her hair and she got her dress on sale new for $15. I am so glad that she's not snobbish when it comes to how much she spends. However, I will make her a hair appointment for the next big event because it took me forever and a day to get her hair just right.

First of all, my oldest daughter would L-O-V-E that dress. And secondly...FIFTEEN DOLLARS? What in the world? How did you pull that off with that dress? It looks like it cost well over a hundred! Maybe you just forgot the Zero? LOL She looks fabulous! Yes, you guys do look alike!

Not only does your daughter look like you, you look so youthful that you look like sisters.

You did a great job on her hair, and her dress is beautiful.

I just love homecoming and prom time. It is a time for myself and my daughter to bond over buying dresses, and picking out just the right hair do. Oh btw, she bought that dress for $15 WOW! What an eye for a bargin she has.
