Random Tuesday Thoughts - Mind Jumping

Tuesday. Random Tuesday Thoughts. Yay! I have to warn ya, I'm going to go all over the board on randomness this week.

randomtuesday

I've taken up the EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge again. I started it a little over two weeks ago. I'm still waiting for the positive results. So far it's been lots of soreness. I am soooo the most unmotivated person on planet Earth when it comes to exercising. However, after weighing myself a while back and realizing I'm beginning to resemble the Good Year Blimp, I decided it's high time to do something about it.

I've been reading up on EA Sports Active 2 for the Wii, debating on splurging and buying it. However, I wonder if it's a glorified version of the original. Are there different exercises? Is it any funner? Know of any Wii games that target the abdominal muscles? I can give a mean roundhouse kick now, but I need something to help with my muffin top.

.............................

The other day I took a couple of my kids to a birthday party at Going Bonkers (classified to some as a family fun center). I was sitting in the chair and moved my foot back far enough to give it a small kick and land myself right in the floor. Yes, a little embarassing.

............................

I'm not moving my blog to WordPress, so no need to persuade me. However, I'm considering changing my domain name so it does not include the blogspot part of the address. My question is, how easy of a transition is it to do that and how much am I going to have to shell out? Really, what I'm trying to ask is .....Is there a simple way to do it?

..................................

My 12 year old son has taken on quite the unusual hobby (unusual for a 12 year old boy anyway). He spent the night with his grandma last Saturday and they stayed up making beaded necklaces. I'm jealous. He does a better job at it than I do. He even made one for his step-sister's birthday. He likes doing it so much that he wants his grandma to come over next weekend and bead with him. I think he's found an outlet that he really enjoys.

...................................

I had a breakdown the other day. It totally hit me that my kids are growing up and they're not tiny tots anymore. Most people can't wait for their kids to grow up and leave the house. I cry instead because mine will be in just a few short years.

What a great way to spend time with your g-ma. Bonus, you get cool stuff.

I fear I will have issues dealing with my kids growing up. They're still young now (3.5 and 9 mos.) but when my oldest goes to Kindergarten, I will totally be the mom who cries.

Hey Terra! Have you looked into Zumba Fitness for the Wii yet? I've heard great things about it. Take it all slowly:) As far as your domain? I bought mine right through my blogger dashboard and it costs me$10 for a year that is it! I can't remember where to go to buy it, I think the last tab under settings. Good Luck!

Put your 12 year old to work! He can have his own Etsy store and fund your retirement....if he's going to insist on growing up.

The only thing better than the tiny tot years is the teenage years! I love them! Each stage has it's own wonderfulness!

Happy Tuesday!

Hi, I'm hopping by from Random Tuesday. I enjoyed your "randomness". You are so right--your kiddos will be gone before you know it...Of course there are always grandchildren to follow ;)
