Wordful Wednesday - Birthday Parties

My oldest step-daughter turned 16 years old and we celebrated with a small birthday party at our home. There's no need to clear the sidewalks just yet. She won't be getting her license until July. Honorable mention gifts were a necklace that my 12 year old son made for her. He was so darn proud of it. Another was five sheets of blank cardstock that my 6 year old nephew thought she needed to draw on.

My husband made cupcakes for the occasion. They were yummy!

Sunday evening I took my boys to a birthday party for a co-workers son at Going Bonkers. My kids had loads of fun playing in the large jungle gym and arcade.

My oldest daughter happened to be working at Going Bonkers that night so her and the boys played together during her break.

I had to catch a picture of Shelby getting ready to clean the bathrooms. Now only if she would do that at home!

Looks like a happy girl! Even if she's not hitting the rods in a new car:)
