Random Tuesday Thoughts - Nice Weather, You're Such A Tease

Ah, I love Random Tuesday Thoughts. It's during this time that I get to mumble on about a whole lot of random nothingness. If you'd like to participate, link up at The Un Mom.

I'm not sure I can give out the deets right now, so my lip is zipped. But has any other blogger gotten an invite to go to Orlando next month for an exclusive event? I'm curious to see who else is going. It'll be my first time flying and my first time visiting that area, let alone that state. Super nervous and super excited at the same time. By the way, what's the weather like in Florida this time of year?
I'm no doctor, but I can play one. It's my perogative.
I don't think I need to pay anyone to tell me I'm SAD. I came to the conclusion that I may quite possibly have Seasonal Affective Disorder. Winter weather puts me in a funk, making me want to hibernate, spin my head in a 360 degree circle, and spit pea soup. The last few days were quite nice and my mood perked right up. Wouldn't you know it, last night the temperature dropped and so did my mood.
We finally pawned our guinea pig off on someone else. My brother and his family stopped by the house last weekend. With a few happy shrieks and giggles from his 2 year old daughter, he was convinced into believing the furry rodent should become a permanent tenant in his home. I liked the creature itself. I just didn't like the constant REET REET REET that echoed from its voicebox.
My husband bought a new RC car this week. Ya know, for as expensive as those things are you'd think they'd come pre-assembled. Every little piece had to be put together. He has the patience of a saint because I'm sure that's something else that would've caused my head to spin and start spitting pea soup if I had to do it.
Valentine's Day was pretty mellow around our house. My husband gave me cash to buy beads so I can make my own jewelry, and my teenage daughter bought us an Applebee's gift card. I think me and Jason are going there tonight to eat.
During one of the days that the weather was nice last week, me and the hubby headed to the campground to check on our camper. I was looking forward to chillin' on the deck. Instead my deck was one of the spots that the snow didn't melt from. I was knee deep in it. I'll let it slide this time, but come April 1st, I'm camping. NO MATTER WHAT.

My daughter has been bugging for a guinea pig for years. We've been able to convince her that we are not having an animal in the house that the dog would eat. (he loves to snack on mice and moles so I assume he would enjoy hamsters and guinea pigs)
She dropped the subject. LOL

I used to live in Orlando and my parents still do; it's really mild right now. Still low 60s in the AM but getting to about 80 later on. It's quite nice! Any later - like in two months - and you'd be in the 'it rains every day at 4' season. Sigh. Happy Tuesday!

My inlaws live in Fl, it's been 80's so jealous! Have fun at your event how exciting:) I'm so ready for spring to arrive, tired of snow. We got another foot on Sunday evening *Sigh*

I know what you mean about SAD, but for me, it's the darkness of winter rather than the actual temperature. It's -12 (Celsius) where I am right now, but the sun has been peeking through just a little bit and I am just sitting here smiling.

Orlando is sounding good right about now, what with Mother Nature dumping another 9-inches of snow last night, after teasing us with 71-degree weather Friday. No invite here, though!

Way to go pawning your guinea pig off! :)

I live about 3 hours south of Orlando, and it's currently 81 degrees! No sign of snow in the forecast... You should love it!

I love this. I do a similar thing called "Ramble Ramble Ramble".

I am a new follower of your blog!

Come over and say hello sometime! Or, come to win of my giveaway's; Rockin' Green Detergent, Baby Bond Nursing Cover (great gift idea too!), or Roundabout Cupcake Sleeves. They all have more than a week with very low entries!

Oh, I'm pretty sure I suffer from S.A.D., too.

Have a fun time in Florida! I sure wouldn't mind being there right about now!
