Dr. Scholl's For Her - Footcare Products Review

If there's one part of my body that I don't like, it's my feet.  It comes in second to my muffin top.  It's because they require constant care due to being dry and achy.  I've recently begun using Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts, which have been a relief.  Most recently I got to try some products from the Dr. Scholl's For Her footcare line, which are designed especially for women.

The Dr. Scholl's For Her Smooth my Sole micro file is an effective, yet gentle, stainless steel file that removes rough, dry skin and calluses.  It is ergonomically designed to fit in a woman's hand and collects skin shavings for no mess.  It includes three smoothing pads.

To use this file, you use a gentle pressure on your foot, moving back and forth to remove dry, rough skin.  Then you use the smoothing pad to buff and finish.  Afterwards, you open it up to discard the skin shavings into the trash.

After using this micro file a few times, I've noticed an improvement in the feel of my feet.  They are less rough and feel softer.  The filer almost reminds me of a cheese grater in how it looks and works.  It doesn't hurt when using it.  With some pressure and a few minutes of time, the dead skin is collected.  I always apply foot cream afterwards for a more silky, clean feel.  I like the pink color and the design of the micro file.  Some people may get grossed out by seeing the dead skin shavings that are collected.  I can't say that it excites me either, but it's neither here nor there for me.  Because some of the dead shavings cling to the file, I use a paper towel every time to clean the remainder shavings out.

The Dr. Scholl's For Her Rub Relief Strips are soft foram strips that cushion sensitive spots to help prevent rubbing and blisters.  The dispenser cuts strips to any length without the need for scissors and can be removed without damage to shoes.

I don't wear heels or dress shoes often because it's always inevitable that I'll get sores and blisters.  These relief strips are a welcome relief.  The dress shoes that I won't normally wear are now being worn again.  By dispensing the amount of relief strips that I need and applying them to the shoes, I no longer have friction against the back of my feet.  The strips are perforated to create narrower strips if needed.  The strips aren't permanent so they do need replaced in the shoe every so often.  They don't leave a sticky residue.  My teenage daughter likes these real well too.

The Dr. Scholl's For Her Fast Flats are roldable, rollable, and stylish flats that are compact so you can carry them with you wherever you go.  They are available in three sizes and included with them is a stylish wristlet.

These flats are a perfect solution to events, weddings, nights on the town, and celebrations.  I think they're especially great for weddings.  I've been in my fair share of them and these would have come in handy after the ceremony.  I also think they're a neat solution to wear when you are at a home that the owner doesn't want people wearing shoes in their house.  They are easy to slip on and fit my feet snugly.  They can be folded up and placed in the gold wristlet to carry around.  I have the wristlet with the flats in them placed in my purse so I can slip them on when needed.  The soles of these Fast Flats are thin and they are not constructed like regular flats.  They're not supposed to be an everyday shoe to wear outside.  They are meant to be worn inside on a smooth or carpeted surface.  I like the black color that they come in, but would like to see them available in other colors as well, like white, grey, silver, or gold.

I received products for review from Dr. Scholl's For Her.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products.  Your opinions and results may differ.
