Wordful Wednesday - Ferry Ride

I've taken a ferry ride before but it's been years.  Saturday, I took one on the way to a fireworks party with some friends and family.  The ride only lasted ten minutes but it made for some fun memories.

Makes me want to ask my husband if he's got a little Camptain in him!
Our friends, Sue and Chris, bickered about going on the ride.  Sue was very relucant to go at first.  She'd never been on a ferry ride and just knew we were going to sink to our deaths.  After conjoling her, she enjoyed the trip.

A re-enactment of the Jack and Rose scene from Titanic.  Not as romantic with these two!

It was Logan's first ferry ride ever.  He asked a million and one questions about it.

Me and Logan

Mama Rees was our chauffer for the night.

By the way, the fireworks show we went to was THE BEST EVER.  It was put on by two campground friends and I've never seen anything like it.  Hats off to Patt and Judy for their spectacular display.

Have you ever taken a ferry ride?  Do you like them?

I did and loved it. We went to Island where wild horse ran, beautiful to see.

Looks like fun! I wish we lived closer to the water. Like real water. We live at a man made lake, which is serious fun for like swimming and fishing and stuff, but not so much for anything else.

How fun. We have taken ferry rides in Florida before. Now if I can get hubby to take me on my cruise...

I LOVE ferry rides! My friends and I used to ride them all the time just for fun when I lived in Seattle - I miss those moments. Hopefully Princess Nagger can experience them, too!

Love all the shots - and the Titanic reference totally cracked me up! :)

OMGosh the titanic re-enactment ... lol

I use to live on an island and you had to take a ferry to get to Seattle to get the major city stuff :). We love them!
