MyPublisher - Heck Of A Holiday Review and Giveaway

*To see the Rafflecopter form and enter giveaway, please click on actual blog post link.*

Every year, I make photo holiday cards that are customized with the kids' pictures and a personal saying.  I'm relieved and pleased to know I have my holiday cards ordered and received for this year.  The photo cards I created came from MyPublisher, one of the leading publishers of photo books.

I've used different holiday card, photo book, and photo calendar companies in the past to order gifts and cards.  I do not have any major complaints about them.  But MyPublisher is one of the easiest to use, with a variety of options to choose from.

For my holiday card from MyPublisher, I went with the Hadley Holiday design.  There were three design colors to choose from and I went with red.  This particular design of card is a folded 5x7 that holds two photos.  Other designs may hold more or less photos, and may be flat cards.  There's over 21 pages of holiday card designs and layouts to choose from.  Once I chose the design color, I was able to choose the paper color and finish.  Between white and ecru, I went with white.  Then there was the option to choose from matte, textured matte, or semi-gloss paper finish.  After choosing how many cards I wanted in that design, I was able to continue on with personalizing my card.

I uploaded which two pictures I wanted to use and left the outside message alone because I liked it as it was.  On the inside of the card, I personalized my own message with the text and font color of my choosing.  Although I chose to leave it blank, the back of the card could even be personalized with photos or text.

As for the envelopes, there was the choice of white and ecru for the colors and several envelope liner colors to choose from.  On the back of the envelope, I had my return address added so I don't have to hand write it myself.  The whole process was very easy and I could go back as often as I wanted to make changes or preview what I had already done.

MyPublisher is different than some other companies in that it offers free standard shipping on their photo cards, for orders within the US.  The "My Bookshelf" allows you to track recent orders, view your projects, and reorder.  What I'm mostly impressed with is that envelopes and envelope liners are free with your card order and so is the printed return address on the envelopes.  There's also no extra charge if you choose one type of paper over the other.

The only downside that I found to MyPublisher is that you are unable to combine multiple book, calendar, or card orders into one shopping cart and have them shipped to you at the same time.  So if you want two holiday card designs or a photo book and a holiday card, you have to make it two separate purchases, rather than one.  On the plus side, shipping is free on photo cards so it won't cost you extra in that regards.

Once my holiday cards were personalized and ordered, I received them in a few short days.  I couldn't be more happier with how they turned out. The color is crisp and the card exceeded my expectations. MyPublisher is definitely one of the best services for making photo cards that I've come across.

Win It!

One person will win a $50 MyPublisher gift code for free holiday cards.
