Vamplets - Holiday Gift Guide Review

I just adopted a new baby. Before you start sending me congratulations, let me tell you she's a little "different".....and not exactly human. Her name is Howliss and she's a Werewolf Baby.  With her somewhat scary, looking face and her polka dot diaper and bow in her hair, Howliss has made me maddeningly giddy.

(Evilyn Nocturna)

Before you think I've done gone off my rocker, let me explain. I know Howliss isn't real but she sure is darling....in a weird sort of way. She is a plush Vamplet, from a world of little plush creatures created by artist G-Ra.  Howliss isn't the first Vamplet I've adopted.  The first was Evilyn Nocturna in October 2011.  She arrived in coffin packaging and is a vampyre baby.  Although the two didn't get along so well at first, Evilyn has taken a liking, in a disdainful sort of way, to Howliss and both now occupy a bookshelf in my entryway.

(Howliss - Werewolf Baby)
There are five Vamplets available for adoption and four VamPETS.  Vamplets are creatures of the night and VamPETS are animals unlike any you've ever seen.  I don't necessarily play with dolls, but Howliss is just too cool. She sits atop my bookshelf next to Evilyn (when they're getting along).   To keep her ravishing hunger at bay, Howliss came with a Disappearing Bottle of Blood.  It's a small plastic bottle filled with "red" blood and capped with a black baby bottle nipple.  When the bottle is upright, it appears as though it's filled with blood.  When the bottle is tipped, the red fluid mysteriously disappears.  It appears as if the Vamplet is actually drinking out of a baby bottle.  Howliss also came with a certificate describing her personality and precautions about her behavior.  I think the plush is so unique and freakishly cute.
I received products for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchaisng products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

Wicked cute. My kids may not care for them much, but I would love one for me ;)
