Combat Ant & Roach Killing Bait Strips - Review and Giveaway

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
Every year about this time, it's certain that ants will start invading my home and camper.  Granted, there's bugs that are worse than ants that could be assaulting my place, but those pesky pests are still unwanted.  Most recently, I've seen them in my bathroom and along a window ledge in my home.

Not long ago I received new Combat Ant Killing Bait Strips to ward off picnic pests, otherwise known as ants.  The same killing power found in Combat gels is now available in a new discreet design.  Unlike spray insecticides that just kill the bugs you see, Combat Killing Bait Strips are designed to kill the nest and colony, attacking the source of the problem.  The unique gel bait formula contains food and water that roaches and ants seek, combined with Fipronil, an insecticide that begins killing within hours once the insect has come into contact with the bait.

There are five ant strips in each package and they are all connected. To use the ant killing bait strips, break them apart and peel the adhesive backing then stick the strip where you want it to go. Even though each strip is to be individually broke apart, it is recommended that you use each one at the same time in areas that ants are invading or likely to invade.

I really like the thin, narrow design of the strips and the fact that I can stick them almost anywhere.  The strips are made of clear plastic and hardly noticeable.  I learned after the first strip that it's best to take the bottom adhesive backing off first and stick it where it belongs before taking the top adhesive off.  I learned that when I was fiddling around with trying to do it the opposite way and a little bit of the gel bait formula dripped onto my hands.  It didn't cause a skin reaction but it's something I'll avoid again as a precaution.

As I mentioned before, I've seen a few ants here and there in my home and camper.  Since using the Combat Ant Bait Killing Bait Strips, I've observed less of them in the places where they were coming out at. As far as options go for killing insects, I like Combat Killing Bait Strips for their effectiveness and discreet design.   I can place the little strips in places that don't drive people's eyes to the reason I have them up in the first place.

Mosquitoes. To keep 'em from breeding in my pond, I keep mosquito fish to eat the eggs that this pest lays on the surface of water.

Hope to win!

I hate these little ants that invade my home every year at this time. They're only about 1/8" long but they come in droves. They march in lines. They take over & drive me crazy.
