Skoy Cloths and Skoy Scrubs - Review and Giveaway

I received products for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
I'm in love....with a product.  I do reviews often and there's been many products that I've continued to purchase and use because I liked them so well.  Then there's the products that exceed that level and make me wonder how I ever survived before their existence.  SKOY biodegradable cloths are in the "whatever did I do without them" category.

Going through a lot of paper towels seems like such a waste to me. I use them once to clean up a mess and then have to throw them away. It also seems like I'm constantly having to buy them.  Since having SKOY biodegradable cloths in my home, I've used less paper towels.  I still purchase paper towels, but not as often. I use the paper towels to wipe our hands and faces with when eating. But no longer do I use them for cleaning. That's because I've been using SKOY biodegradable cloths.

SKOY is an absorbent, multi-use cloth used for cleaning in place of paper towels, sponges, and wash cloths. It is made from natural cotton and wood-base cellulose pulp, making it 100% biodegradable. And the designs on them add a nice touch.

I put my SKOY cloths to the test. Having a full house, messes are always made. I've used SKOY cloths to clean up drink and food messes and to wipe off my counters. I've used them to wipe down my walls and clean the tub. I've used the cloths with just water alone, as well as with cleaning agents.  And I really like how well SKOY cloths work to wash dishes.

To keep SKOY germ-free, it is recommended that it be microwaved daily when damp for 1-2 minutes. It is important that the cloth be wet. I've also thrown them in the washer and dryer to get them clean. When they come out of the dryer, they are curled up and a little hard. But they become soft again and work just fine once they are put under water.

The Skoy Scrub, another product I received from Skoy, is a new concept in kitchen scouring pads. The reusable scrubs are made in Europe from cotton and non-toxic hardener that outlast traditional scrubbers.  The Skoy Scrub comes in a variety of colors and designs which adds fun as well as function to any kitchen. These scrubs will replace the old green scouring pads or scrub sponges. The Skoy Scrub is not limited to the kitchen and works well on most surfaces.

Out of the two, I like the Skoy Cloths better but I am still impressed with the Skoy Scrubs.  For one, they have designs on them that beat the traditional green or dark gray solid colors.  For another, they clean my countertops and stove effectively and without leaving any scratches.
I learned that Skoy has fundraising options available for schools, in which they combine five regular Skoy cloths and a customized print for schools into a unique six-pack for funds to be raised.  I think this fundraising idea sure beats out a lot of the ones I've seen come my way and it's an idea I'll be bringing up to my children's school the next time fundraising ideas are brought up.

Win It!

One person will win a 4-pack of Skoy Cloths in flower print and a Skoy Scrub.

I would use the skoy to clean the microwave and wipe down the touch surfaces like door and drawer handles in the kitchen. They need to be wiped down regularly because who knows what was on the hands that touched them.

Skoy Cloth is both biodegradable and compostable. An independent composting test showed that a Skoy Cloth broke down completely within 5 weeks

When I first saw these, I never believed that they would replace paper towels in my house. Two years later and they are about all I use for everything and no longer buy paper towels. I use them in the kitchen, bathroom, to wipe up spills and lots of other uses.
