Wordful Wednesday - New Season, New Camper

I'm not one to brag because I think boasting is disrespectful, but please forgive me for being so disrespectful this once because I'm sooo excited.  We are the proud owners of a new camper (well, at least new to us).  We've upgraded from an '86 model to a '94 model.

Last weekend was the first official weekend of camping season and my husband caught the "bug" when he saw that everyone around us was getting newer campers and golf carts.  I was adamantly against it because I'm all about not having extra debt.  After he gave me the dog eyes and spoke with the banker, I caved in.  Not because I just didn't want to listen to his pleading, but because I learned it was actually feasible.

The camper we had was decent enough but really needed some cosmetic upgrading.  The new one we got isn't necessarily bigger but is in better shape.

Interestingly enough, we've been inside the "new" camper tons of times before.  It previously belonged to a couple who are very good friends of ours.  They camp just three doors down from us and we've spent many times hanging out at their place.

It's the start of a new camping season and the start of a new camper.  I'm ready to "rough it" and make new memories this year.

it looks huge to me! very roomy for a camper too. nice decore. now you can sell your old one and put that $$ towards payment or fun goodies. too bad you don't live close, I know someone who is looking for an older camper to replace his leaky one he uses for hunting camp.
