12 Rounds 2: Reloaded - Blu-ray Combo Pack Review

I received DVD for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinios and results may differ.

Movie Synopsis:

WWE superstar Randy Orton slams action into overdrive in this pulse-pounding thrill ride filled with gripping suspense! Paramedic Nick Malloy (Orton) is plunged into a deadly game of cat and mouse when he receives a terrifying phone call from a vengeful psychopath (Brian Markinson) connected to his past. The maniac threatens to unleash a murder spree unless Nick can complete a series of 12 challenges without involving the cops or missing a single deadline. With no time to spare - and his own wife's life on the line - Nick must piece together cryptic clues and hunt down the killer before it's too late!

My Review:

I watched the original 12 Rounds movie when it was released and was blown away by the action and plot.  12 Rounds 2: Reloaded had me just as engaged and absorbed.  12 Rounds 2:  Reloaded is not an extension of the first movie and it does not involve the same actors.  It is rather a movie on its own that has a similar plot to the first.

I do not own a Blu-ray player but watched the DVD portion of this combo pack.  The story tells of an EMT named Nick who happens upon a wreck.  One year later, he's sent out on an emergency call that sets of a chain of events.  Nick is contacted by someone who has a vengance for justice and Nick is used by that man to complete a series of twelve challenges.  The challenges aren't easy and the time frame to complete them is short.  What captivated me is how each challenge was related to each other and the complex scheme of it all.

The movie is rated R for a brief scene of nudity, curse words, and violence.  If you are looking for a movie that's action-packed that gives you moments of "Ooooh, now I get it!", then I definitely recommend 12 Rounds 2:  Reloaded.
