Father’s Day Celebrations for All Palates - #HormelFamily

As part of the Hormel Family Blogger program, I received products.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

We know the best gift you can give for Father’s Day is a full stomach—whether it’s your father, husband, brother, or another dad you want to honor. Better yet, you can save yourself money by creating homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, leaving more time to spend one-on-one with the ones that you love! Whatever dad’s taste, Hormel Foods has plenty of recipe ideas to please his palate. See below for several ideas based on the type of food you think he will like best!

Sausage and Veggie Kabobs: Not only are Hormel® Natural Choice® original smoked sausages delicious on the grill, but they are also gluten-free. Mix with onions, potatoes, peppers and dad’s other favorite veggies on a skewer and set on a medium heat grill.

Coconut Curry Pork Chops: Explore a new cuisine with dad by taking a trip down the ethnic food aisle. Combine red curry paste and unsweetened coconut milk with gluten-free Hormel® Always Tender® boneless pork chops.

The Spicy Lover:

Breakfast Pot Pie: This spicy, breakfast casserole is filled with CHI-CHI'S® diced green chilies and topped with CHI-CHI'S® thick & chunky salsa creating a tasty and flavorful dish.

 “Blazing 8” Chili: Chili is the perfect comfort food for dad. A dash of chili powder in this recipe using Hormel® chili with beans adds just the right amount of spicy flair.

Health Conscious:

Asparagus Chunk Chicken Salad: Use fresh asparagus and Hormel® chunk chicken to create a light, summery salad that is nutritious for dad.

Grilled Ham with Roasted Tomatoes: Grill up a Hormel® Cure 81® ham steak and top with tomatoes and mushrooms for a quick meal for dad on the run.

What kind of food does the dad in your life love? What are you doing this year to celebrate Father's Day?  This year we will be hosting a cookout at our campsite to honor all the fathers in our family.

My dad is Italian, so I am thinking he may like some of those spicy ideas.
