Wordful Wednesday - Christmas In July

As if we don't get reminded enough, it's less than halfway to Christmas.  The campground held 'Christmas In July' on Saturday, complete with campground decorations, breakfast with Santa, and a Christmas golf cart parade.

During Breakfast With Santa, kids were given coloring books and trinkets after they told Santa what they wanted for Christmas.  Adam is too old for the belief, but still likes the magic of it all.  Breakfast pizza and cheesesticks were served.

I was a scrooge and didn't decorate my campsite but my sister decorated hers, even with a large inflatable that played instrumental Christmas music ALL. NIGHT. LONG.

Are you preparing for Christmas already or waiting closer to time?

That is a skinny santa. He's lookin' alittle like ZZTop in his cheap sunglasses.LOL!! The only Christmas in July I'm doing is entering giveaways so yes I'm doing my shopping now.If I could I'd leave my Christmas decor up all yr.I live in an apt and everything has to be taken down by Jan.3rd.I usually take everything down on the 2nd.I love my whole patio being lit up by lights so I went to home depot and got some really pretty dragonfly lights. It's a string of them and I'm putting them on the inside of my patio so no one sees them but me.It sounds like you all had fun and that's whats important.

OH man, it's going to be Christmas in December before long! Time flies, doesn't it? I haven't prepared much other than pick up a few gifts that I know will be useful for then.
