Epic - DVD Review

I received DVD for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

DVD Synopsis:

From the creators of Ice Age comes the year’s funniest, most exhilarating animated adventure! Transported to a magical world, a teenager (Amanda Seyfried) is recruited by a nature spirit, Queen Tara (BeyoncĂ© Knowles), to help the “Leafmen” save their forest from evil warriors. The whole family will love this fast-paced thrill-ride, with its astonishing animation and an all-star voice cast that includes Colin Farrell, Oscar® Winner Christoph Waltz, and Steven Tyler.
My Review:

I received the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo of Epic to watch with my family. Last night we sat down to watch the DVD portion of it. A computer animated fantasy film that centers around a teenager who is recruited to save a forest, Epic is full of adventure and vivid dynamism.

Mary Katherine, the teenage girl, is magically shrunk in size and finds herself in a forest of Boggans and Leafmen and other tiny magical beings. Some of the individuals she encounters want to be her friend and help her come to realizations, while others are evil and have more devious plots up their sleeves. Mary Katerhine, also known as MK, is faced with struggles and adventures as she tries to help the people of the forest restore their home.

Although the plot is predictable, the animation and characters bring this movie to life and my entire family enjoyed viewing it.
