Wordful Wednesday - Living Vicariously Through Their Eyes

Last weekend Logan traveled to Detroit, Michigan to compete in the Junior Olympics.  He competed in one Track & Field event, the 3000.  That equals eight laps around the track.  That also equals seven more laps than I could do.

As much as I would've loved to have been there, I wasn't able to go and watch Logan run.  Something about lack of money and no time off from work made sure of that.

Logan wasn't without his team of supporters though.  His father, uncle, and brother went with.

Although Logan didn't place high or receive a medal, he ran his personal best for the 3000 meter race and moved up in rank.

While they were in Michigan, the boys took a little detour to American Jewelry and Loan, otherwise famously known as 'Hardcore Pawn' on television. Logan and Adam got their pictures taken with Les and a shirt autographed by him. They also browsed around the place.

Logan rarely smiles (it's not cool too) and that's evident by the fact that even a famous celebrity couldn't get him to grin.

Even though I couldn't go, Adam took a few pics and told me the deets. Hearing about it from them was ALMOST as fun as being there. Next time, though, I'm jumping on board.
