Worship and Music at the Orange Concert

Last night me, my husband and one of my besties headed to a local park to listen to three Christian bands rock out. The Orange Concert was put on by my church and had a large turnout. I'd say there was well over 500 people in attendance.

I did not participate in any of the kid-friendly activities but there was plenty to keep them busy. A favorite was the splash pad with shooting water spouts. Zoe, my niece (bless her heart) dropped her drawers at one point and bared butt to all. She had to go potty and thought that'd be a good place to take a tinkle. Thankfully, she was caught in the act and was taken to the proper pee facilities.

The concert lasted four hours and the music was incredible. My church put on the event as an end to Vacation Bible School and held the festivity in the middle of town so whoever wanted to could attend and see what our church is about. A lot of the tunes were modern and contemporary Christian rock.

Me and my friend, Kim

These three cuties are my great-nieces and came out to play, dance, and worship as well.

Cool event - and what kid doesn't love a splash pad, right? LOL. Glad you had fun!
