Dino Tracks - Children's Book Review

I received book for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

Book Synopsis:

Step back in time and follow dinosaur tracks around the world. Whether made by a few dinosaurs or large groups, these tracks provide clues to the movement and behavior of these lovable ancient creatures. What dinosaurs made the tracks and what do scientists think they were doing when they made them? The author tells the story in rhythmic rhyme that may be sung to the tune of Over the River and Through the Woods.

My Review:

For fans of dinosaurs or kids wanting to learn more, Dino Tracks is a fascinating book about behaviors and patterns of dinosaurs. With sharp colorful illustrations, this book is told in measured form. There's no mention of dinosaur names in the story, so it's not the easiest to deciper which dinosaur is which. Nonetheless, this is an engaging tale of an extinct species. The 'For Creative Minds' section in the back of the book further educates with a True or False section about dinosaurs, information about how scientists piece together how dinosaurs lived, details on dinosaur tracks, and where dinosaur tracks have been located.

Dino Tracks is a Fall 2013 book release by Sylvan Dell Publishing.

Hello, I'm the illustrator of Dino Tracks and appreciate you taking the time to review it. I learned a lot about dinosaurs myself while researching this book and have a whole new appreciation for paleontology. Hopefully kids will enjoy it too.
