Halloween the WOAKS Way

Saturday the campground celebrated Halloween with lots of festivities. I know it was a wee bit early in the month but it got everyone in the spirit. During the day children dressed up in costume and went to campsites to trick-or-treat. My son and nephew helped pass out my candy.

I even got in on the fun and dressed up. I'm not sure if I was going for the punk rocker or hot mess look.
Jason dressed up as Dr. Grabwell and offered "free mammograms". No one took him up on his offer!

My sister and her husband went all out and dressed up as a garden gnome and Bigfoot.

Later that night a live band played music. Several people showed up and danced in costume. Because it was our wedding anniversary weekend, Jason had a song dedicated to us.

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year and the Whispering Oaks Halloween Festival was a blast. I'm ready to do it all over again!

It looks like you guys really got into it - and then the kids will get even more candy for the second Halloween celebration!
