First Football Game In Years, And I Still Don't Get It

Jason's brother is a senior in high school and has played football all four years. Senior recognition night was held a couple weeks ago and we agreed to attend because we've never been to one of his games and Cody would be walking with his mother across the field.

I can't say I regret going but the odds were not in my favor that night for a couple reasons:

1. I don't understand the rules of football to save my soul. I have no clue what a sack, fumble or punt is. The only thing I understand is that a group of guys huddle and run down a field for the purpose of scoring a touchdown. The only football I watch on TV is during the Super Bowl, and that's for the commercials. My kids are in sports, but football isn't one of them. And the only sports my husband gets into involve cars. In a nutshell, we're not a football lovin' family.

2. It was freakin' cold!! Me and Adam huddled together for body heat while snot dripped down our noses. The cappuccinos and hot chocolates we bought were lukewarm at best. The weather was not in our favor.

As much as I try, I just can't get into the love of the sport. I appreciate the hard work and dedication, but I'm probably the world's worst fan.

Are you as cluseless about football as I am? What's your favorite sport to watch or participate in?

Lol! I'm the same way! I watch the Superbowl for commercials and don't relish sitting in the freezing cold watching them run back and forth!

While I don't always understand it, I do love to watch football! But only at home. I am not a fan of sitting in the cold watching live games.
