Home Alone: The Holiday Heist - DVD Review

I received DVD for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

DVD Synopsis:

In the latest installment of the Home Alone franchise, Finn Baxter and his family move from California to Maine to their new house. Finn is terrified and believes the house is haunted. While he sets up traps to catch the "ghost", his parents get stranded across town and Finn is home alone with his sister. Their house is targeted by three thieves. Home Alone: The Holiday Heist became available on DVD October 29th.

My Review:

I'm not sure how many Home Alone movies there are now in the franchise, but it's a handful. The newest, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist, has a boy believing in ghosts and setting up traps to catch them. Come to find out, it's thieves who are making all the hullabaloo. Finn has to come up with creative ways to keep the thieves from getting away with the family's belongings. Much of the scenarios played out in the latest movie installment are similar to the original but it's still an enjoyable movie. It's fun to compare how the newest DVD is similar and different to the original.

I'd like to see it. My boys laugh at the old one. They would probably enjoy this one to.
