Ripley's Believe It Or Not!: Dare To Look - Review and Giveaway

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! has intrigued me since I've known about it. The oddities and weird facts may not be life learning lessons that I need to know about but they sure are interesting. Someday I'd love to visit one of Ripley's Believe It or Not! attractions. Until then, I'll be pacified by reading their publications.

Ripley's Believe It Or Not!: Dare To Look is is tenth book in the bestselling Ripley's Believe It Or Not! annual series. Daring readers will be treated to an all new collection of the most bizarre, incredible and amazing true stories from around the world. With thousands of true-yet-unbelievable facts and stories, as well as hundreds of full-color photos, this title is sure to fill readers with wonder and astonishment.

Additionally, readers can access exclusive bonus content through the oddSCAN function of the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! app. By scanning images, stories literally come to life with videos and extra content on the app.

Me and the kids have engulfed ourselves in this illustrative book. I could immerse myself for hours reading everything in this 256-page book and still find new and interesting things the next time I read it. It's FULL of entertaining facts and information about all sorts of weird happenings, feats, animals and people around the world. There's photos for almost every story. The kids love this book as much as I do. I keep it out on the coffee table and it seems to get picked up every night by one of the kids to scan it and learn even more fascinating stuff. It definitely sparks conversation and "would you do that" questions. There are some photos in the book that may be disturbing to some people. I'm immensely pleased with this book and will keep it for years, to read and reread several times. The oddSCAN app further enhances our experience with the book because we are able to see videos and read other content on the stories that interest us. The app is not a requirement for this book; it's a supplement. So even if you don't have a tablet or smartphone, I definitely recommend adding this to your bookshelf. You'll be entertained and amazed.

Win It!

One person will win Ripley's Believe It or Not!: Dare To Look hardcover book.
