Herbal Essences Naked Hair Care Set - Review

I received products for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

A couple weeks ago I hosted a giveaway and told you a little bit about the new Herbal Essences Naked collection. Although the giveaway prize was quite nice, I hope you also learned about the new line from Herbal Essences. It's now available online at and will be available this week in stores.
The Herbal Essences Naked Volume Bundle Kit retails for approximately $12.99 and includes the whole set. The kit includes Naked Volume Shampoo, Conditioner, Volumizing Soufflé Styler, and Dry Shampoo. I already had a favorable impression of Herbal Essences before trying their new line, and am an enthusiast for their new products.

I've been using the products from the Herbal Essences Naked Volume Bundle Kit for a couple weeks now. The affordable price is attractive and I like that the products work on my hair. The scent of white grapefruit and mint extracts is refreshing and pleasant. Although it's not something that makes or breaks my purchasing decision, several people will be glad to know the collection contains zero dyes and zero parbens.

The Naked Volume Shampoo and Conditioner is made to restore hair's natural body. Using both to cleanse hair leaves it soft and detangled. I love how clean and smooth my hair feels after I use it. The Naked Volume Dry Shampoo is to be used for days when you don't have time to wash your hair. The natural tapioca formula absorbs excess oil. By spraying on and working into the roots, it's supposed to transform lifeless, oily hair into fresh hair. I'm not a big fan of dry shampoos to begin with just because I'm spoiled on regular shampoos and conditioners. I prefer to actually wash my hair, but will say that the Naked Volume Dry Shampoo has been valuable in keeping my hair from feeling like a total mess after roller derby practice when I don't have time to immediately shower. Compared to other dry shampoos I've tried on the market, I feel this particular one is of better quality.

My favorite product of the four is the Naked Volumizing Souffle. By working the mousse through my wet hair, I am given hair with more volume and softness. I only put a quarter size amount onto my hair and work it through, then blow dry. I love the bouncy, full feel.

Herbal Essences has done well with the creation of the Herbal Essences Naked Hair Care Set. I'll definitely be purchasing the Volume Shampoo, Volume Conditioner, and Volumizing Souffle to keep the nice, clean feel they bring to my hair.

Very cool. I used to use Herbal Essences all the time before I started getting keratin treatments. Now I can't use it anymore, but I used to really like it.

My mom used to buy Herbal Essence when I was a kid. I haven't used it for years. I'm curious now, and will be picking a bottle up at the store. I do remember it smelling so good.

This sounds like quite an interesting new line from an old and respected brand!

I remember using this brand a long time ago before I started using strictly natural and organic and I always loved the way it smelled :)
