Helen's First Fashion Accessory

Yeah, Helen's a girl. And she couldn't look any less girly wearing this necktie. But she's still rockin' it.

We've officially had Helen for a little over three weeks now and she hasn't died or been identified as stolen, so that's a plus!

The little turd has mastered the stairs. So now instead of staying in the bedroom while I'm asleep during the day (I work the graveyard shift) she moseys on down the stairs to see what she can get into. It's usually something that involves paper or shoes.

I took Helen into Petco the other day to pick out her own treats (that's where she told me she wanted the necktie too) and you would've thought I was killing her. Petco has a leash requirement and Helen HATES the leash. Too bad, so sad sistah.

Helen's still leaving little surprises around the house in the form of dog dookie and pee puddles. BUT that's partly my fault because I'm a deep sleeper and don't get up to take her out during my bedtime. Good news is that she knows to go outside when someone is there to let her out the door.

I was totally against getting another dog after the Cisco and Holly fiasco. The hubby kinda arranged for us to get Helen, then decided to tell me about it. I think Jason might be regretting that decision now because she's much more my dog than she is his. She and I are quite attached. The bond is too strong to let him in...unless we decide he can at the time.

Awww she is absolutely adorable. We are debating on getting a puppy. I want one, but don't want everything that goes along with puppies such as chewing on everything.

Oh man. Having a puppy is almost worse than having a newborn! ;)-Ashley

Look at that sweet little puppy face!! Although I do know puppies and I know behind the cute exterior is a menace. LOL

I've been having some health issues so I never got around to giving you my condolences on Cisco. He had a good life with you guys so you can take that away and know you made a difference in his life :)

And Helen does indeed rock the tie quite well! xD
