Important Update: Blog May Be Experiencing Technical Difficulties

Readers, be aware that there may be a short period of time you may not be able to see my blog.  It will either say the site is for sale or go to a 'Welcome to Wordpress DIY Tutorial'.  Or even something else that looks wonky.  I'm going through the turntables of hell trying to get it all fixed.

I was under the assumption I had automatic renewal for my URL domain.  I even tried to log in and make sure that was correct when it was about to expire, but that was fruitless.  In turn, my domain has expired through GoDaddy and was bought by a dude in Bangladesh.  It's a blogger's nightmare.

I'm going to go all religious on you and say that this has tested my patience and sanity.  I've been doing a lot of praying in the last 24 hours that all works out well.  GoDaddy says I can have the content of my blog back, but under a different URL.  I'm okay with that.  If only it were so easy.

I now have to have a call-in PIN that I supposedly created five years ago in order for me to get things fixed with GoDaddy.  I have to get that PIN through Google.  I've contacted Google and was given instructions on how to get my PIN.  I've been trying that but I keep getting looped back to the same page like I did when I tried to check the billing months ago.  It's a road to nowhere.

I know some people may say this is "just a blog".  I could just surrender and start fresh.  But, it's much more than that.  This blog is almost five years in the making of my personal and professional life.  I post about my family and kids often.  But I also work with several companies and make a little income from this blog.  I'm no Top Dog but it's taken me years to get the relationships with companies that I have.  It's taken me years to get the amount of followers I have.  It doesn't happen overnight.

Somehow, someway I'm able to conduct this post.  I'm not quite sure how, except by the grace of God.  In a few minutes, it could all be taken away again.  I've even noticed that people are able to visit my blog and leave comments.  All comments I receive for my blog come into my email and it's been busy today with comments.  That's a plus.  If you're able to comment, that means you're able to see my blog.

Any advice would certainly be helpful.  Please don't be afraid to try to come visit my blog, as long as it looks the same as it always has.  Soon I will be purchasing a new URL and will update you with that.  Thanks and wish me luck.  A few prayers wouldn't hurt either.
