Whose Egg? - Children's Book Review and Giveaway

I received book for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

Synopsis:

Does the egg lying in the golden sand belong to a penguin or a turtle, a snake or a butterfly? Use what you already know about animals and their environments along with the illustrative evidence that Guy Troughton provides to sleuth around and predict which animal will hatch from which egg. Let Whose Egg? aid the imagination in visualizing everything from emerald green eggs to those that house "scaly claws" and "snapping jaws." Kids will love opening up the flaps and discovering what type of animal belongs to each egg.

My Review:

A beautifully illustrated hardcover book, Whose Egg? shows pictures and descriptions of eggs. Eight different creatures are featured, with a couple of them being an alligator and an emu. Children will learn in what environment the eggs need to hatch and will see what the differences in animal eggs are. A wonderful attribute to the book is that readers find out which animal the egg belongs to by lifting the flap. It is there they will discover the baby animal that came from the egg.

Win It!
