Cheer on Reading with Cheerios - #PlatefullCoOp

I received products for review from Platefull Co-op.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.   Your opinions and results may differ.

I believe there are several positive outcomes that come about when children are read to or read books on their own. Books encourage imagination and help with several skills. Cheerios also knows the importance of reading and has started Cheer on Reading as a way to get books into the hands of kids.

Cheerios is offering books inside specially marked boxes, with six collectible books in all. Each book is bilingual, with both Spanish and English words. To help in collecting all books without getting duplicates, you are able to view which book is inside each box of Cheerios. The books are available for a limited time so be sure to grab yours now.

This year’s book offerings from Cheerios – all by Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing – are:
•“That’s What I’d Do” by Jewel
•“Bear Says Thanks” by Karma Wilson
•“1-2-3 Peas” by Keith Baker
•“Chicks Run Wild” by Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen
•“Please, Baby Please” by Spike Lee & Tonya Lewis Lee
•…and returning favorite “Jump!” by Scott M. Fischer

I received "Jump!" in a box of Cheerios and "1-2-3 Peas" in a box of Chocolate Cheerios. Both books are easy to read, with colorful illustrations. I encourage you to look for the specially marked boxes of Cheerios to receive the collectible books.
