Happy Memorial Day

Although Memorial Day is widely known for time off from work, camping, and picnics let us not forget the real reason - to recognize the men and women who died while fighting to protect our country. Have fun, be safe, and keep our service men and women in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm married to a retired vet, so this really hits home!

We have many vets in my family. Those who have served are front and center in my mind today.

I hope you had a good holiday. We used to go to a park that's called Memorial Day Park, and listen to a few speakers, and watch jets fly and more. Now our May birthdays are celebrated because that's the only time we are all off and can get together without sports events. I do kind of miss going to the park though.
