Spoonful of Comfort - Review and Giveaway

I received product for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

Spoonful of Comfort has been simering up thoughtful gift ideas since 2008 and the company is dedicated to the memory of Mona Bowes, the founder's mother. A portion of all the proceeds from Spoonful of Comfort chicken noodle soup will go to cancer research and patient advocacy via a memorial fund in her name.

Whether it is a card, a gift, or just kind words, I know that I'm always comforted when someone takes the time out of their day to think of me. Because I know the feelings of encouragement and gratitude I get when someone goes out of their way for me, I try my best to show friends and family I care about them as well. Although their main specialty is chicken noodle soup, Spoonful of Comfort has a variety of food and drink items that would be perfect to show someone you care.
The Sweet Squeeze Gift Set is one of the food and drink packages offered by Spoonful of Comfort. Lemonade is a tasty thirst quencher any time of year, but especially so in the summer. Spoonful of Comfort takes care of "turning lemons into lemonade" with the pretty gift set. It includes natural strawberry lemonade mix, two glass mason jars, and vintage straws. It comes packaged neatly in a brown box.

I couldn't help but feel cheered when I received the Sweet Squeeze Gift Set. It's so simple, yet so creative. The glass mason jars have handles to hold on to when drinking the lemonade, and the pretty paper straws are yellow and white striped. The lemonade mix comes in a clear glass container with a lid. Instructions on how to make the lemonade are included.

The lemonade itself was easy to make. By looking at the chart on the directions, I determined the proper amount of lemonade crystals to pour into a pitcher. I then added cold water and stirred to dissolve.

Ingredients of the lemonade mix includes evaporated cane juice, lemon granules, natural lemon flavor, freeze-dried strawberries, and other straightforward additives. Once you add the mix to the water, the strawberries are very evident and so is the lemon pulp. I, for one, didn't care for the pulp but I don't normally like small floaties in my drinks. I must say, though, that's the only thing I didn't care for out of the whole shebang. The lemonade was absolutely delish! It had the right balance of tartness and sweetness. I didn't have to add any sugar. It didn't take long for me to savor in all the mouthwatering liquid. The best part is that although the lemonade is gone I still have darling glass jars to drink other liquids out of.
Win It!

One person will win a Sweet Squeeze Gift Set.

What a sweet idea! I'd send it to a friend who's going through a bit of a rough time right now--she moved away so I can't take her out for lemonade, but this would be almost as good.
