First Things First - #FirstThingsFirst Giveaway

I received gift card in exchange for this post. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ. This post contains embedded widgets and video.

Summer is all about family and spending quality time with the ones you love. And the more skills you develop the more time you invest in your family and your relationships. First Things First (FTF) is an award winning not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families. FTF has put together a few commercials to show the bond between strengthened families. My favorite commercial is the one above, Daddy's Way, that depicts a mother who leaves the kids with dad and she seems to have doubt that he can handle it. While mom is gone, dad and the kids spend the day having all sort of fun, in a way only dads would come up with.

First Things First (FTF) is an award winning not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families in Chattanooga, Tennessee. FTF is a resource that collaborates with and is supported by a broad cross-section of community organizations, groups and individuals. FTF accomplishes it mission through meaningful media messaging and skill building classes.

Did you know:

• 24 million children are growing up in homes without their biological fathers.

• Only 30% of divorces are due to infidelity, addiction or abuse; 70% of divorces are due to couples feeling disconnected.

• Couples who manage to devote time specifically to one another at least once a week are markedly more likely to enjoy high-quality relationships and lower divorce rates, compared to couples who do not devote as much couple time to one another.

• Fathers provide unique benefits to their daughters through their active and positive presence from the time of birth all the way through adulthood.

We have raised our children & we're now raising grandchildren. They are so busy with school activities that leaves me feeling like we don't get to spend nearly enough time together, just as a family.

I think we spend plenty of time together. My kids would say we spend too much time together. But it wasn't always that way when my husband and I both worked.

My son is grown now so I definitely don't get enough time with him. Somehow, with work and other activities my hubby and I still manage to have good, quality time together.

Our kids live in another country, so we definitely don't get enough family time. We had great long visits with them this summer, though, and we are looking forward to the next ones.
