I received book for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

Turn little pouts into big smiles! Mr. Fish is nervously awaiting his first day of school, and he frets about not knowing how to write his name, how to draw shapes, and how to do math—until he’s reassured that school is the perfect place to learn how to master all of these new skills, in this new Pout-Pout Fish book from Deborah Diesen and Dan Hanna.

About the Author: Deborah Diesen is the New York Times bestselling author of The Pout-Pout Fish, named by Time magazine as one of the Ten Best Children’s Books of 2008. She has worked as a bookseller and a librarian, and now works for a small nonprofit organization. She lives with her family in Grand Ledge, Michigan. Dan Hanna has over ten years’ experience in the animation industry, and his work has appeared on the Cartoon Network. He lives in Oxnard, California.

My Review:

Soon, school will be in session for children. For some, it comes easy. For others, they may have fears they are not good enough or won't be able to learn certain things. The Pout-Pout Fish Goes to School is an adorable hardcover book that is encouraging to younger children. It tells the story of a fish who is unsure of himself and worries whether he'll do good in school. In the end, he learns three facts about himself that builds confidence and reassurance. The book is 32 pages and is filled with delightful illustrations.

Win It!

One person will win a book copy of The Pout-Pout Fish Goes to School.
