Keeping Lice Away with LiceLogic - Review

I received products for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

There's nothing more embarrassing than sitting in the waiting room of a hospital waiting for your child to get out of surgery, only to be told that the surgery can't be completed because your child has nits.

Yeah, that happened to me! Shelby, my daughter, was two at the time and was supposed to have a hernia removed. Instead I took her home and went through the tedious process of removing lice from her hair and our home.

Fast forward a few years later and learn during a Christmas Eve family dinner that my son has lice. I flipped a lid and shaved his entire head bald.

It's a common myth that only dirty or poor people can get lice. That, my friends, could be further from the truth. Lice aren't choosy, and will latch on to anyone's hair.

It's almost inevitable that at some point in your child's life they will get lice. If not, consider yourself lucky. There are precautions, though, that you and your child can take to help prevent that from occurring.

LiceLogic, a representation of products from Logic Product Group, offers natural, effective and safe lice prevention and lice elminiation products for your family. We were able to try the Lemongrass LiceLogic Repel Shampoo, Conditioner, and Conditioning Hair Spray.

LiceLogic is one of the only truly natural lice treatments to be independently tested and proven to treat head lice by killing the lice and nits on contact. Head lice is kept at bay with Triple Shield Effect and is proven to repel lice for up to twenty four hours.

The hair spray, shampoo and conditioner is formulated with pure Lemongrass essential oil, which is known to deter head lice and other insects. The shampoo and conditioner makes our hair feel nice and clean. The hair spray has a medium hold and doesn't weigh hair down. Best of all, the products do not contain harmful chemicals.

Thankfully (knock on wood) we haven't had a lice infestation in our home for a few years. Because of that, I can't say one way or the other how well LiceLogic works in repelling and killing lice. However, I'm not against using all-natural products on our hair that give us the added comfort of hopefully never having to deal with lice again.

Have you ever had to deal with lice? What preventative measures have you taken to keep lice from infesting your child's hair?

(LiceLogic Review) I have heard that these products work really good for getting rid of the head lice.

We had lice often as kids and it sucked! I have counted my lucky stars that my girls never did get it *knock on wood*. I still remember my mama ripping out my hair trying to get them little buggers out!

Fortunately we really haven't had to deal with this problem yet but it's good to know there's a good product out there for it.

Thankfully we have not had this! My oldest did get ring worm. I'm thinking he got it from the mats in Jiu-Jitsu at the Y.
