MagnaMini - Children's Magnetic Outerwear Review

I received product for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

My kids are old enough to dress themselves and I no longer have to help them. Thank goodness! Those days of trying to get several kids ready for school by buttoning, snapping, zipping, and tying were quite the chore.

Maura Horton came up with an innovative way to minimize that stress with MagnaMini, magnetized coats and vests for kids.

I received the Hadley - Chevron Quilted Vest - Libby Lou. There are four sizes available for the vests and coats, starting out at size 2T and ending in 6/7. There is a selection for both girls and boys, although the girls' options offer more colors and patterns.

Because my kids are too old for MagnaMini, I enlisted my niece to try on the vest. It was size 4/5 and fit her nicely. She was able to put the vest on herself, and in no time at all. She was enthralled with the fact that it snapped open and close with magnets so she did tend to play around with it often.

The MagnaMini vest is made of water-resistant, lightweight material. It's not heavy or bulky. It doesn't provide a lot of warmth so I suggest that your child not wear the vest by itself, and rather wear an undershirt with it. It's machine washable and has heat sealed tags so your child won't itch from a tag sticking out. There's a little loop sewn on the inside to hang the vest. The magnet closures for the vest are not visible so no one can easily see that's how the vest closes.

All in all, I think MagnaMini is a fantastic outerwear option for younger children. They're stylish and functional.

What a great idea ! Would build confidence as well with the child not always needing help to fasten the vest
