I know, I know, it's only October. But that means there's only a couple short months left until Christmas. And it seems a lot of people have started preparations for the holidays. To get your kids pumped for Christmas, there's Roaming Reindeer, an activity kit that includes a book and two plush reindeer.
The premise of Roaming Reindeer is that Gus and Sam, the two reindeer, are Santa's helpers who decide to visit girls and boys to help Santa see who’s being naughty or nice. Sam gets sad whenever he sees a child who is naughty and ends up telling Santa. Gus sticks around to keep watch. Reindeer 1 will disappear to tell Santa any time someone has been naughty. Reindeer 2 will always stick around to keep watch. On Christmas Eve, the reindeer disappear to help Santa deliver the gifts. They will return again next year during the Christmas season.
The book tells the story of Gus and Sam, and how they team together to help Santa. Although I don't necessarily believe in telling children they are naughty, I think the reindeer are a great reinforcement in getting children to be on their best behavior. The book has charming illustrations and the plush reindeer are darling. Both the book and the plush come packaged in a keepsake box that can store them year after year.
Children can keep watch of the reindeer for a gentle reminder of how well they've been behaving. If one reindeer is not around, it means the child may have misbehaved. The second reindeer is always around to keep watch. If both reindeer are together for several days in a row, it shows the child that they've been extra good and parents can reward that behavior with a treat or choice of award. Roaming Reindeer is a visionary and interactive way for children to work on good behavior.
Win It!
One person will win Roaming Reindeer Christmas Activity Kit.
