The Beatrix Girls - Doll Review

I received products for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

Say what you will, but I like dolls. I'm not one of those people you'll see on TV one day dressing her dolls and having a collection lined wall to wall (pinky swear). But I have a slight fascination with dolls that are unconventional and quirky. I have about ten of them and recently added some from The Beatrix Girls collection.

The Beatrix Girls is a line of collectible pop-star dolls driven by original music. The Beatrix Girls' message is to empower and inspire young girls throughout the country through their music, fashion and goal-oriented lifestyle. The four band members of The Beatrix Girls includes Brayden, Ainsley, Lark, and Chantal. In addition to the original line of The Beatrix Girls dolls, newly added has been the same dolls on London Tour. Kids can interact by collecting their music and joining their fan club.

Lark, with long brown hair and big green eyes, plays the guitar. Ainsley plays the drums and has platinum blonde hair. Brayden has the rock look down with her purple hair. She's the vocalist and main song writer. Chantal is from Canada and plays the keyboard. The Beatrix Girls has great style, fashionable outfits, and positive messages. All dolls are posable so they can be made to sit down or stand up, although they stay in place much better if in sitting position. Each doll wears a signature outfit, and girls can comb or updo their hair. Their heads are bigger than their bodies and all have big, bright eyes.

The Beatrix Girls can be purchased by themselves, or with a stand and instrument at a higher purchase price. Although I think the dolls themselves are worth the buy, I think it completes the ensemble more if they have the instrument with them.
Included with each Beatrix Girl doll is a code to register online and become a VIP Trixie. There, you can download songs and watch webisodes. The Beatrix Girls music is also available on iTunes and Amazon. The Beatrix Girls know how to rock, with style!
