Building God's Kingdom Series - Children's Book Review and Giveaway

I received books for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
With the perception that there are few faith-based books aimed at boys, there is a new inspirational brand of books for lads with construction machine themes.  Author Andy Holmes has created the Building God's Kingdom Series using the construction machine subjects to teach boys about values, morals, and God's blessings.
Tipper Tells A Lie book synopsis:

It’s time to get to work! The trucks have gotten their assignment and are ready to build! But as they prepare to head to the construction site, Tipper tells a lie. And Tipper’s lie catches up with him . . . ! How will they do their jobs and learn about why God says it’s so important to be honest? Dozer, Diggit, Stretch, and Tipper must use their special traits and work together to get their job done and bring glory to God.

Diggit Saves the Day book synopsis:

It’s time to get to work! The trucks have gotten their assignment and are ready to build! But they come across a surprise—a tiny squirrel named Earl who has lost his way. How will they do their jobs andhelp Earl find is way home? Dozer, Diggit, Stretch, and Tipper must use their special traits and work together to help Earl and to bring glory to God.
In Diggit Saves the Day, the construction machines are busy building and don't have much time to pay attention to a squirrel who needs help home.  They soon realize that they need to stop what they're doing to help the squirrel in need.  The book teaches the values of kindness and helping others.

In Tipper Tells A Lie, Tipper goes with his fellow crewmates to a construction site.  Tipper fails to tell anyone that he's running low on fuel.  In fact, he lies when asked.  When Tipper finally does run out of gas, he has to admit that he lied about how much he had in the first place.  This book teaches the importance of telling the truth and the grace of forgiveness.

Both books are hardback and each one is 22 pages long.  The characters are charming, and the storylines are engaging and instructional in the ways that children should live their lives for God.
