An Epic Cake Fail!

I'm hosting a #DisneySide Celebration in my home Saturday afternoon and part of the plan was to bake a Mickey Mouse cake.  I had a pan in the shape of the mouse's head, tye-dye mix, and very expensive frosting.  Being that my husband is a master of most trades, I put it all in his hands.

And this here is the end result:

How in the world am I supposed to serve this cake at the party?!  Even the 7 and 8 year olds will be scarred for life if they see this jacked-up version of Mickey.  Heck, it's going to haunt my nightmares for years to come!

On the other hand, my husband is now taking orders for your cake needs.  Anyone??  Anyone?!

I really don't mind the look...it's kind of Dali-esque. One of my favourite cakes was one my Mom commissioned from a friend, shaped like a Star Wars Landspeeder. I think I was about 7 years old and I still remember it! I bet this cake would make a memorable impression!

Too funny! I tried making brownie bites last week fr my son's class. Total fail I couldn't get them out of the pan. I went with store bought donut holes instead. Sigh....
