What's Your Cold and Flu Alter Ego? - Lysol Review

I received products for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
As a mom, you do everything to keep your kids healthy and happy.  Sometimes, you go so overboard that your kids yell "MOOOMM!!" from across the house.  But you know better . Whether it's practicing some degree of the Defriender or the Magician, moms go the extra mile to prevent cold and flu season in their home.

What moms may not realize is that with the extreme measures they take to avoid germs, they can almost become a different version of their normal selves – taking on an “alter ego” that practices preposterous, eyebrow-raising behavior. That’s why Lysol® has developed a guide of common germ alter egos; shedding light on these ridiculous behaviors and providing solutions to“#LysolThat” so you can be your normal self.
Four common Germ Alter Egos:

The Touch-a-phobe - Spots germy surfaces from a mile away and avoids them at all costs.  Whether it is tricking a friend into opening doors for them by deliberately walking slower when walking into a restaurant or refusing to let sick coworkers borrow their laptop, the Touch-a-phobe keeps harmful germs from their hands.

Is this you?  If so, your rehab includes:
*a map of all local spots with automatic doors
*a pair of tongs for everything from door-opening to copy machine-using
OR *Lysol Disinfectant Spray to prep surfaces for touchability

The Defriender - Normally loves quality time with friends.   However, if anyone sneezes or coughs in their vicinity, their senses heighten and they cancel all plans with the offender.  Spot a Defriender by their signature greeting of "How are you feeling today?" featuring subtle hints of "Please don't tell me you're sick!"

Is this you?  If so, your rehab includes:
*an Outlook calendar filled with fake meetings
*Skype dinner dates where you and a friend eat dinner at each of your respective homes while webchatting
OR *Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap so you can still socialize and keep those germs at bay

The Avoidenator - A fun-loving person who's always up for a good time with 100 of their "closest friends".  However, with the advent of cold and flu season, they suddenly prefer any plans that don't involve spending time ouside of their home in groups of more than two.

Is this you?  If so, your rehab includes:
*a personal assistant to handle all necessary errands
*the best cable package out there
OR *Lysol Disinfecting Wipes to make all public spaces Avoidenator-approved

The Magician - Just as the name conjures, they perform disappearing eats or pull tricks out of their bag the moment a germy situation arises.  You're a Magician if you ditch your shopping cart whenever you spot a sneezy salesperson or if you conjure distractions to prevent sick visitors from touching items on their desk.

Is this you?  If so, your rehab includes:
*an invisibility cloak
*a body double
*OR Lysol Disinfectant Spray as a fine addition to your bag of tricks

I have a full house of six kids, a husband, a mother and a dog.  So if one of us gets sick, it becomes a domino effect and we're all tainted at some point.  Lysol products are a staple in my home because I know they work in killing cold and flu viruses.  Although arming myself with Lysol isn't a foolproof plan, I know it's helped with keeping germs and ickies at bay.
After reviewing The Germ Alter Egos, I'd say I'm most like "The Avoidenator".  I don't want to hang around with a bunch of sick people, so I tend to be more aloof when cold and flu season is in effect.  I tend to be a hermit during the winter months.  The Avoidenator's rehab plan includes Lysol Disinfecting Wipes, which I swear by.  I ALWAYS have Lysol Disinfecting Wipes in my home, no matter what time of the year it is.  All rooms in my home have been exposed to the wipes because I use them almost every day.  They're great for disinfecting surfaces, but also clean up spills and messes.
The Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap is a new-to-me Lysol product.  I'd never purchased it before but, after reviewing the hand soap, I like how well it foams up and cleans hands.  It also has a pleasant smell.  The pump is easy to use.  Just a couple of pumps into the hands and you're good to go.
I tend to carry the Lysol Disinfectant Spray to Go in my purse with me at all times.  The spray is small enough that it can be used for travel.  I work at a job where several people swap consoles throughout the day.  I don't need their germs!  Which is why I spray down my console with Lysol Disinfectant Spray to Go before each work shift.
Lysol is a brand that I trust, and will continue to use their products to safeguard my family against germs and viruses.
What's your favorite Lysol product?  What's your Germ Alter Ego - Defriender, Magician, Touch-a-phobe, or Avoidenator?

I have to get that Lysol to go so I can spray the scooter down when I go to walmart.I get so grossed out imagining what could be on there.I stay away from anyone in my family who is sick.I live by myself and my nieces sometimes tend to give me a cold or virus.Never the flu,my flu shot works very well.I've been using Lysol ever since the day my mom told me to clean the bathroom with nothing but Lysol.I think I was about 12 or 13 yrs old.I used to clean homes and I always made sure I had a can of Lysol with me.Lots of older people who always seemed to be sick.I flee from germs with good 'ole Lysol :)
