Last Saturday I ventured to Kansas City, MO to attend a convention with my sister. The convention left much to be desired but the food venue we chose to eat at for lunch was impressive. We knew nothing about it before stepping inside, except that it was one of the closest in proximity from the convention center.
BRGR, a modern burger joint, has two locations - one in Missouri and one in Kansas. The place was rather busy but the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was the little details that caught my eye. Like how the knives resembled switchblades.
Don't mind the growl on this gal. She hung around with us most of the day and happened to be local to the city I live in. Any ole' how, waiters poured water out of wine bottles. Again, it was the little details.
I'm not a Scentsy consultant. I just play one at conventions.
My sister and I thought we'd enjoy ourselves an afternoon drink. Six Jagermeister shots later we realized we could've bought two full bottles for the price we paid for six shots! Won't be doing that again anytime soon.
I ordered fries and a Knob Hill Burger. The burger was made up of Wisconsin Swiss cheese, grilled onion, and sauce on parmesan-crusted sourdough bread. It was delish! The fries were brought in a tin cup. Again, the details.
What's your favorite burger joint to dine at? Do you pay attention to the details, could care less as long as the food is good?
