NKJV Early Readers Bible - Review and Giveaway

 Synopsis:

The new Early Reader’s Bible is God’s Word for kids. With 192 pages of maps, charts, articles, and study helps, combined with large print easy-to-read Bible type, this is the perfect first study Bible for kids ages 7 to 10. Using the New King James Version® the Early Reader’s Bible will help children begin the life-long practice of reading, memorizing, and studying God’s Word.

My Review:

For the last few months my 16 year old son has been attending Small Group on Thursday nights for fellowship and study with other students.  Although Logan knows a few basics about the Bible, he didn't have one of his own and was interested in learning more about the history of Christ times.  Since receiving the NKJV Early Readers Bible, Logan has been really getting into the Word.  It makes my heart proud to see him study and read from the NKJV Early Readers Bible.  It's a hardcover book with font that is a little larger than normal.  It's much more than a Bible; there's also several color pages of maps, illustrations, diagrams, charts, and other studies to help get a better picture of the times and written word.  Although this particular Bible is supposed to be geared towards 7 to 10 year olds, I think it's actually better suited for tweens and teens due to the format and amount of reading material.

I'm partial to David. A man after God's own heart, yet a well documented sinner. What a testimony of God's love!

I probably gravitate most to Psalms. It seems to offer the most comfort! but I'm always intrigued by the bad characters, lol, like Judas or Jezebel, too.
