When I'm Feeling Kind - Children's Book Review

Helping people, listening to your friends, feeling good about yourself — feeling kind is all of these things and more. Each book in the When I'm Feeling series has been carefully designed to help children better understand their feelings, and in doing so, develop confidence and self-esteem as they grow. Talking about feelings teaches children that it is normal to feel sad, or angry, or scared at times. With greater tolerance of challenging feelings, children become free to enjoy their world, to feel secure in their abilities, and to be happy.

My Review:

A hardcover book with 16 pages, When I'm Feeling Kind uses cute bunny illustrations to convey kindness.  The simple, yet powerful, words depict how kindness should be displayed to others and ourselves.  I'm a firm believer that teaching kindness to children while they are young is paramount, and I'm a supporter of this book because it tells children what kindness is and how it can be applied in everyday situations.
