Wordful Wednesday - Texas Roadhouse

Shelby sippin' on a margarita
You'd think she'd have a happier look on her face
My baby, who's not a baby anymore, turned 21 yesterday.  Because she had mandatory roller derby practice, she wasn't able to get out to celebrate a lot.  I did get the chance to take her to Texas Roadhouse for some good eatin'.   Her grandma tagged along.

Me with my mother
It was my first time ever eating at the joint.  It's always super busy so I've never messed with trying to beat the crowd.  But, per Shelby's request, we went.  The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.  I wouldn't mind going again sometime.

Diners are offered free shelled peanuts and hot rolls before the meal.  I ordered the Roadkill with green beans and a baked potato.  Although I don't much care for the name, the Roadkill was good.  It was a chop steak covered in onions, mushrooms and cheese.
Shelby refused to participate in the traditional birthday celebration at Texas Roadhouse.  I couldn't get her on the saddle for nothin'.
Have you ever dined at Texas Roadhouse?  If so, what's your fave eatins' from there?
Happy Wordful Wednesday!

I have dined at Roadhouse, and have enjoyed their margaritas as well! However, I prefer an Amish sandwich. Do you know where I could find one?

LOVELOVE Texas Roadhouse but so does everyone else in the Chattanooga area, and we don't get to eat there often because of the crowd :( But, when we do, I get the bbq chicken and ribs or bbq chicken and steak and share with my girls. LOVE the bbq sauce! Great, now I'm craving Roadhouse. Might have to go wait in line for two hours tomorrow night....

That margarita is as big as her! We haven't been to Texas Roadhouse in years. I always liked the peanuts on the table. Your food looks great - maybe we'll have to go back there.
