SKIPPY Salted Caramel Peanut Butter as a sandwich spread, but went further with it and used it as an ingredient in a cookie recipe. Very delish, if I do say so myself!
Skippy Salted Caramel Candy Bar Cookies
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. Skippy Salted Caramel Peanut Butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. mini (or "fun-size") milk chocolate candy bars
1/2 c. peanuts, chopped
Mix together sugar, brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, egg, flour baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla. Chill dough in refrigerator for approximately one hour. Then remove dough and mix in chopped peanuts.
Cut each candy bar in three pieces. Wrap a piece of cookie dough around each piece of candy bar. Dough balls should be about the size of a walnut. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes. Remove from oven and flatten with a spatula.
