Nothing says “I love you, dad” like a gift created by a family man, Walkers Shortbread. In 1898, Joseph Walker developed the recipe for the “World’s Finest Shortbread”—117 years later, the recipe (butter, flour, sugar, salt) is still used today and his legacy is carried on through the work of his children.
Father's Day is right around the corner and what better way to spread the love than sharing x’s and o’s with the special dad in your life. Walkers Shortbread is here to help with their delicious mini shortbread fingers and pure shortbread rounds.
Even if you're not celebrating Father's Day, Walkers Shortbread has superb treats to delight the taste buds. The shortbread has a light buttery taste with the right amount of crunch. Walkers Shortbread is available in tins, cartons, mini bags, and snack packs. I've found that the cartons are not re-sealable, so I chose to put them in a baggie to retain freshness. Each shortbread piece was completely in tact when I opened the package. I was happy that there were no crumbs or broken pieces. Walkers Shortbread is so simple, yet so absolutely delicious. They're tasteful and have the right amount of sweetness.

We'll probably make a nice breakfast for my husband, and then go to visit my dad for Father's Day.
Thank you!

We are the "older generation" in our family, so we'll have a backyard cookout and see how the children want to surprise their Dad.
We will be enjoying the outdoors as a family.
We will probably grill burgers and hot dogs and have some great conversation with family and friends.
We will be grilling out for Father's Day.

Since my dad and I are countries away. I will just make a cake and some pasta and take a picture of it. Then send him some money to buy something nice.
I don't know yet what we will do. We'll probably be traveling around that time. I'll get my dad a card and a treat at minimum.
We'll barbeque, swim, and the the kids will give their Dad little gifts.

My husband and I are traveling with my dad to visit his "roots" in Alabama.
We will not be doing anything for fathers day. My dad is 7 hours away
Unfortunately my dad passed away a few years ago so I don't have any plans for Father's day, but I will certainly be thinking fondly about him!
Today (Father's Day!) we are just hanging out at the house. We already planted some seeds for vegetables this morning. We will most likely grill some burgers and have a picnic on the porch later.
We are having a BBQ
Me and my brother are taking my parents out for Father's Day to eat at the Olive Garden.
My husband wants to do a quiet picnic celebration at home where we can watch the kids play outside all day. Sounds good to me!
We will be having a bbq and swim all day.
