Emma's Officially A Teenager!

Emma turned 13 years old yesterday.  Say what!  She's now officially a teenager.
Now that her birthday has rolled around, all six of our kids are teens and above.  No more babies or tweens hanging around here.  Kinda sad 'bout that.

We took Emma out to eat at a local Mexican restaurant where she was embarrassed with a sombrero and singing.

Happy birthday to an amazing girl!

Happy Birthday Emma! Boy, she sure does look like her Momma. Two beautiful young ladies and what a great idea for her birthday. The embarrassment will go away and beautiful memories she will have. My oldest girls (twins) are 12. Somethng like this would be fun for me to do next year.

I hope she had a very happy birthday! At one of our local Mexican restaurants, they distract you by singing and putting the big sombrero on your head, then they whack you in the face with a cream pie dessert--I am not joking. They did it to my oldest daughter and completely traumatized my two year old ("NO HIT SISSY! NO HIT SISSY!!!") So, Emma, be glad you just got the hat and the happy birthday song :)Happy 13th!

Looks like she had a great birthday! Love the sombrero too, lol. My daughter is also 13 and I was kind of sad in Dec. when she hit the teenager stage but it's all part of growing up!

Happy Birthday Emma. Unfortunately it doesn't take long for them to grow up. Looks like she had a good time.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Emma!We always go to La Tapitia where they make the birthday girl/boy wear the hat then sing to them. I've been embarrassed many times and it wasn't even my birthday. LOL! It's hard when our babies aren't babies anymore. My daughter is going to be 30 in Oct.30 yrs has gone by so fast. I hope she had a fun day!
