Read Me A Bible Story 365 - Book review and giveaway

I received book for review from Thomas Nelson.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

In just a few minutes a day, you and your children can discover God’s unfolding story and His great love for His people. This 365-day story Bible is perfect for your growing family. You can take it to church or read the stories at home every day of the year. Young children will love this beautifully illustrated collection of cherished stories from the Old and New Testaments.

My Review:

A hardcover book packed full with stories and illustrations, Read Me A Bible Story 365 is a great teaching tool for kids to learn about the Bible.  The stories are very short and understandable.  A verse is underneath each story so children can reference to it in the Bible.  A Table of Contents shows each day of the year and which story to read that day.  An inside cover page has a "To, From, and Date" section that can be filled out.

Although there are short stories for each day of the year, the are not in biblical order.  For instance, one day may have a verse from Luke and the next day may be a verse from Matthew.  However, this is an easy way to get children interested in the stories of the Bible in a way that will keep their attention.

While the birth of Christ is our favorite story, and Jesus our favorite character, we also love to read about great women like Ruth.
