Random Tuesday Thoughts - Halloween Party and Hot Peppers

Tuesdays aren't normally my thing.  But they're always a tad bit brighter with RTT by Stacy Uncorked.  If you're as random as I am, head over to her site and link up.  She'd be thrilled to have you play along.
----------------------
Because sometimes I'm an epic fail at parenting, I will laugh at my kids at their expense.  For instance, Adam was encouraged to take a bite out of a Habanero pepper the other day.  I got the wording all mixed up in my head and thought it was a jalapeno.  Because of my brain dyslexia, Adam ate the Habanero.  (In comparison, jalapenos are "Oh wow, that's hot.  Habaneros are "Oh mighty hell, my arse is on fire.")

He immediately started sweating bullets and had tears streaming down his face.  I helped by offering him milk, bread and sugar.  But not before I got some pictures of his suffering.  #MotherOfTheYear
--------------------

Me and Becky in the haunted shed.  I came dressed as a 90s Rocker, or more like a Hot Mess.

Becky and I co-hosted our 3rd Annual Halloween party at her house Saturday.  Usually we have it all organized and planned out, but mandatory training at work has caused us to get it all together on a whim.  As it turns out, it worked out.

There were more people than we imagined there'd be.  They were everywhere, I tell ya!
We pulled the whole thing off and I think everyone had a good time.

Not one for originality, I've worn a variation of the same costume for several years.  And I'm sure you can guess what Jason dressed as.

Some of the highlights of the party included a gourd decorating station, a caramel apple bar, and a haunted gingerbread house decoration station.
-----------------------------

Juliann attended her school's Homecoming dance Saturday night.  She dressed up so pretty and danced the night away with friends.
---------------------------
I hosted a Scentsy party earlier last week.  I totally owe my friends.  They weren't stingy with their money.  I ended up getting almost $100 in free product and some half price items.  Chances are, if you're related to me, you'll be getting Scentsy for Christmas this year.
-------------------------

Because he does all things last minute, Logan let me know that I needed to help decorate a pumpkin for school the next day.  I doubt it wins an award but we can say it's done.
-----------------------
So, what's your randomness for the week?  Attending any Halloween parties this year?  Ever order from Scentsy?

You and your son did a great job on the pumpkin! Your daughter looked beautiful for homecoming. Your poor son eating a habanero. I would die! But I'd probably get a few pictures, too, if it were my son! I guess I'm also mother of the year!

Scentsy is awesome. I can't order it in the hot months because it never makes it here in one piece lol.

No we aren't attending any Halloween parties, my daughter & I are helping pass out candy at my mom's church for trunk or treat. I've never ordered from Scentsy, I won a Scentsy package in a raffel at a fundraiser I attended a few years ago, they drew my name a couple other times for other prizes. I chose something else instead, I regret not choosing the Scentsy prize. :/

No halloween party. I go to my sisters house to hand out the candy. That way she can take my nieces trick or treating.
I remember biting into a pepper because I was told it wasnt hot. Well it had me sweating, crying, cussing and I spent awhile in the bathroom. Now I know which peppers are hot. I dont eat any of them. Lol!
I do have a scentsy warmer like yours and also a plug in warmer. I have some amazing cubes that smell so good.
Im going through all my Christmas decor and donating it to the Hospice Thrift store. Im slowly getting settled in my new apt. I have 9 tubs of Christmas stuff plus a few more boxes in my closet. Its ridiculous all the stuff Ive bought over the years. Yikes!

A clown pumpkin!! I love it. That's great.
And my son gets a big kick out of watching those YouTube videos of people (men) eating hot peppers. That ghost pepper (I think??) one looks particularly nasty.
I wish I knew someone who had a Halloween Party -- I love dressing up and no one else I know likes to do it and just have fun. Grown ups suck. :)
