Accentuate - Card Game Review and Giveaway

I received product for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.
I grew up playing games with my family and passed that tradition on when I had kids of my own.  We still get together from time to time and spend hours playing board and card games.  A new one that we've played a few times is Accentuate.  It's a game that boasts a simple yet humiliating premise: repeat a given quotation aloud in a randomly selected accent and see if teammates can guess what it is.

This card game features 30 different drawls from around the globe, a third of which are British dialects.  Some others include German, Australian, newsboy, and ape accents.  Players have just 30 seconds to give out one of the 90 quotations in their allotted accent.  To further add challenge to the game, there is a dice to roll that gives you different options.  For instance, you can swap or pass if your dice rolls on that option.  The winning team is the one with the most points, meaning the person who can best guess the accents.

Accentuate is simple to play yet hard to do!  I don't do well with accents and obviously can't talk some accents to save my soul.  It is fun, though, to see everyone try to do their best or even figure out how they are to convey what they want to say.

Accentuate comes complete with 90 Accent Cards featuring 30 different accents from around the globe (each repeated three times), 90 different Quotation Cards, a timer and a dice to select game‐play options. This game is  ideal for livening up festive visits to family and friends this Christmas.

Win It!

One person will win an Accentuate card game.

I am a southerner and am happy with my accent lol. No matter where we travel, as soon as we begin to talk it is obvious that we are southerners lol.

British accents are lovely. I have a friend from Essex who has a nice accent (although he says it certainly isn't posh - sounds like it to us southerners!).

I would love to have an Irish accent. I think it's a pretty hard one to fake. Plus, it's mine and my hubby's heritage.

I always thought that I did good accents, but people say they always morph into an Indian accent. This sounds like it would be a blast!
